I believe my scope of training and practice would benefit your company because my skill set could support your business.

 

I completed a general residency program that was personally tailored for me as an Oral Surgery Internship in the Saint Louis area with only one other competing general residency program on the Missouri side.

 

We served the three million plus population of the Saint Louis metropolitan area and the bordering state populations of Missouri and Tennessee in need of oral surgery because there was not an oral surgery training program within a two hundred mile radius of the Saint Louis metropolitan area.

 

In addition, we were the only Public Aid oral surgery provider in the area, so I effectively played the role of an oral surgery resident. I received the equivalent training as that of an oral surgery resident’s first two years of the four year program trained in performing dentoalveolar surgery with intravenous sedation and completed more than one hundred full bony impaction cases during this intense training program.

 

This was the perfect storm of opportunity that has enriched and will continue to positively impact my career for a lifetime.

 

Since that time, I have focused my energies on developing an Oral Surgery practice for the Public Aid population who sometimes are forced to wait to receive definitive care at the area County Hospital for one to two months.

 

We are a hybrid general dental and surgical practice with emphasis on quality primary/urgent care with intravenous sedation for patients looking for low cost oral surgery. We take pride in servicing the Public Aid community considering there are so few oral surgery providers within the state of Illinois offering these services.

 

Our surgical services include diagnosis and treatment of dental and jaw infections, incise and drains, primary closure of Maxillary sinus, removal of complete bony impactions of third molars, surgical exposure and bonding of impacted canines and molars in conjunction with comprehensive orthodontic treatment, frenectomies, full mouth extractions with alveoloplasties and immediate dentures, and surgical placement of implants and TADs.
